Sunnyside makes their Hobart debut on Saturday, February 1 in celebration of the release of their second LP, ‘Momentum’.

Light up the Lane is the City of Hobart’s premier digital youth arts festival which transforms the city by projecting digital artwork onto buildings, fences, windows, doors, footpaths and anywhere else we can. The event is an opportunity for our community to celebrate the skills, passions and creativity of young artists, transforming the urban landscape into an exciting pop-up digital art gallery.
Featuring a local lineup of acoustic singer songwriters on the lawns and electronic music from local underground DJ's in Criterion Lane.

A cross-disciplinary movement group that I'm in - Hybrid Elements Collective, will be performing a show at MONA Market on Sunday. We'll be working on a piece live in-situ from 4 - 6 PM followed by a showing. There'll be Hip Hop and Contemporary dance, alongside Parkour and Freerunning movement, accompanied by music produced live by Koh-dee!

"We had a blast at MONA markets yesterday! Collective Freerunners, Hip Hoppers and Contemporary dancers all jumped in for a second choreographic speedrun! We arrived at 10:30 and within 4 hours we developed a 10 minute show live for the audience. Benjamin Allen, Sammie Jade Lester and Claire Thompson choreographing the movement as a response to our space and Koh-dee (Cody Webberley) creating music from sounds around MONA and the athletes movement. A HUGE thank you to everyone involved! It was an absolute blast!" - (Hybrid Elements Collective, 2017)
